Stunning views from this penthouse apartment prompted the removal of several interior walls, opening up the interior spaces toward the large roof deck and the San Francisco Bay beyond. A merging of sleeping and bathing areas became a platform within the living area, allowing for an open plan and a light, airy feel throughout the dwelling. Rich wood grain surfaces respond to the owner’s love of natural materials, and the blue glass tile walls reflect the color of the bay waters. This residence was one of three renovated flats in the building.
