LOS GATOS LIVING ROOF

LOS GATOS, CA

InsideOut Design was the lead landscape agency for the Los Gatos Presentation Center, preparing concept designs for the new dining facility at this retreat and conference center in Los Gatos, California. Incorporating a green roof was one of many design features employed to minimize energy consumption and solar heat gain. Native and drought tolerant planting, the use of vegetated swales for storm water management, and the implementation of permeable materials and recycled materials are among other ecologically sustainable features of this project.
